Networking and Cold Outreach Templates

Taking the plunge to send that first outreach message to someone you don’t know can be stressful, but it’s a low-risk, high-reward activity that is sure to make you stand out. Almost everyone you talk to has gotten to where they are in their career because someone else helped them, and many are eager to pay it forward.

Below are some sample message templates that you can use when reaching out to people in a variety of scenarios. Please note that these should NOT be copied and pasted verbatim- use them as guides if you need a little help figuring out what to say! The most impactful outreach will be personal and genuine.
